Nier Replicant follows the adventures of a young man named Nier who journeys from his home village in search of the “Sealed Verses” to cure his terminally ill sister Yonah. Certain characters and themes from the latter game also appear in the prequel, shedding more light into their origins and valuable insight into the interconnected narrative of the two works.
